"Sometimes teams work and sometimes (if I’m being honest, a lot of times) they don’t. It happens and it’s ok! But no matter who you’re playing with, when you’re onstage, the only thing that matters are the people onstage with you. Improv is a team sport—if your goal is to be the #1 funniest person, go do standup. Your teammates are your people. Get on board with each other. Make each other laugh. Go down swinging. Fail in an embarrassingly huge way. Do it together and laugh about it later. Chemistry is a tricky thing and it’s kinda rare, but teamwork is an action. You can practice it and get great at it. Besides, the audience goes home at the end of the night and you’ll probably never see them again so you don’t need their approval."
