MAGNET THEATER
Remember Me?

Magnet visits with people we haven't seen in awhile.

Musical Veteran performer Veronica Venture
Veronica Venture
1. Where are you sheltering?

I have been staying upstate in Kingston NY with my parents and dogs Moody (in the picture) and Lilly.

2. How are you staying sane?

It's been tough! I have been trying to find a balance between letting myself be distracted and channeling my anxiety into something productive. As a distraction, I like to craft; I mostly make collages and tie dye clothes. I also watched all of Gilmore Girls with my mom. To feel productive, I have been text-banking and writing letters to voters about the upcoming election. There's still time to make a difference! A great place to start is votesaveamerica.com If you want more resources, please feel free to reach out!

3. What do you miss most?

Hugs. Connecting with people in the same physical space. I miss going to Magnet and seeing live shows and feeling the excitement and energy of the community.

4. What don't you miss?

FOMO! There is no fear of missing out because no one is hanging out.

5. What do you want to say to the other members of the Magnet community?

I miss you. I know things are so tough now, but seeing the love and strength of the community online gives me hope. It's so great to see that we have found ways to stay connected virtually and share our work with each other. Does anyone want to do a virtual monologue hotspot? Could that work? Let me know.
