It is. You are. Thou art. I am.

In the 1980’s, legendary improv guru Del Close took a pilgrimage to Toronto where a local Wiccan coven aided him in kicking his cocaine habit. His newfound experiences in the world of Wicca led to the development of “The Invocation:” a séance-like ritual in which the spirit of an object is evoked, deified, and used as source material for a big dumb improv show.

Having fallen out of favor in recent years, The Invocation is back and better than ever as director Bianca Casusol and a coven of veteran improvisers breathe new life into this nearly forgotten spell. Seasons change, tides rise and fall, and “The Invocation” returns to the Magnet Theater this spring.
