About the Show

Musical Improv is entering a new era of experimentation at the lab. Two entirely different experimental teams have spent the month together creating something new in the musical improv world.

Every month groups of eight experienced musical improvisors come together for a lab that focuses on a unique topic or form that expert coaches want to explore with the team. This month we're showcasing two teams: one experimenting with a Musical Macroscene and another with Strong Scenes into Stronger Songs. Come to be inspired, surprised, and entertained by completely made up musicals in vastly different styles.
