About the Show

A fixture in the New York musical improv scene in recent years, Stefan Wenger is moving across the country in a week, and he's doing one last Stefan Definitely show to say goodbye to the city he's called home for the better part of 37 years! And for the first time ever, Stef and his band are improvising a FULL-LENGTH album, from start to finish!

"Stefan Definitely" is a washed out rock star who claims to have made a series of highly successful concept albums back in his heyday. On a comeback tour, he performs one of his classic concept albums at each show, but he has completely forgotten all of them! He needs the audience's help, to "remember" the titles of his albums, his songs, and sometimes even his lyrics. In actuality, singer/song-improviser Stefan Wenger and his band improvise every note as they go, and the story right along with it.
