(Performer)Surriya was born in Louisville, KY 🐎 The first half of Surriya’s improv career was short form improv and she studied with Automatic Improv in Atlanta GA and has been on various short form teams (and now long form teams!) in KY and NY. She produces All Mixed Up: an improv comedy show celebrating mixed-race comedians…she’s half Pakistani and half American. At least one has described her improv as “it reminds me of that time on SNL when everyone really liked each other and everyone got along.” She has been taught or coached by improv greats at the Magnet Theater, UCB and beyond in NY, Atlanta, and Louisville. Surriya was honored to make her Magnet Megawatt improv house team debut in 2025. She is also a doctor, really likes people over the age of 65, and people in general, clown, dessert, cards against humanity, running, tennis, and snacking.
