Bio
(Perfomer)Stephanie Anderson (she/her) is a NYC-based actor, director, improviser and teacher who is pretty much winging it at this point. You can catch Stephanie improvising with her indie team, Triceratops, or playing the tambourine with SOUL on a Bluegrass Musical Improv team. Or you can see her do (slightly) more serious stuff with Verbatim Performance Lab or Okaeri Productions. At Magnet, she’s studied with Megan, Nick, Louis, Peter, Cheryl, Armando, Michael and FRANK (all hail). Before getting her MA in Theatre Ed from NYU, Stephanie taught theatre for five years in Beijing, where she performed regularly with Beijing Improv. She taught middle school theatre for three years to glean content and be humbled but the toughest of audiences: 8th graders.
