(Performer)Scott Lawrie is the only child of two immigrants who fled Britain for the warmth of Southern California. His admiration of jewel-tone blazers and Sela Ward's performance in Almost Golden: The Jessica Savitch Story encouraged Scott to study Broadcast Journalism at the University of Missouri - Columbia. He was once a serious man who wore ties and worked as a field producer for NBC. He has lived in New York since 2005. While at Magnet, he has studied under Armando Diaz, Mark Grenier, James Eason, Chet Siegel and Christian Capozzoli.
Scott is both of the Scotts in MegScottScottMeg - a performance team that has garnered more than one dozen views on YouTube. Despite the aforementioned internet fame, he remains humble.
