Michael has been playing on improv stages for over 20 years, and currently can be seen playing with Megawatt team Behemoth, and previously with Aura. Previously, Michael performed, directed, and taught improv in NJ, with Death By Improv (2005 to 2021) and down in Philadelphia at Philly Improv Theater (2010-2015), where he played with Mayor Karen, Page One, and the Dean's List, as well as directed "Millennium Quest: Warp Jawn" an improvised Star Trek parody. Michael has studied at Magnet, at PHIT (Philly), at Reckless (NYC), and at dozens of festivals, camps, and intensives across the country, and occasionally overseas. Some of the teachers that have had a great impact on Michael's approach to improv: Joe Bill (Chicago), Mark Sutton (Chicago), Jill Bernard (Minneapolis), Kristen Schier (Portland/Philly), Louis Kornfeld (NYC), Peter McNerney (NYC), Nick Armstrong (Denver/LA), Craig Cackowski (LA), Brian James O'Connell (LA), Chris Mead (London), Katy Schutte (London), Roy Janik (Austin), Kaci Beeler (Austin), and so many more.
