Bio
(Performer)Margaret Smith (they/them) is an improviser originally from Chicago. They studied Directing and Gender Studies at Skidmore College and wrote and performed with The Sketchies. Back in Chicago, Margaret completed the iO Training Center Program and performed on Golden Ticket, a house Harold team. Margaret moved to NYC in 2022 and completed the Magnet Improv Training Program, studying under Elana Fishbein, Louis Kornfeld, Michael Lutton, Billy Soco, and Rick Andrews. You can catch them performing on their Megawatt team, Cool Cousin, or their indie team, No Duds. Margaret is a recovering college student affairs professional and now designs and facilitates leadership development and team dynamics programs for a global law firm. They love bringing improv into their work whenever possible! When they aren’t improvising, Margaret is probably playing in their queer softball league or shooting pool at Ginger’s Bar.
