Manus Clancy
Bio
(Performer)Manus Clancy is a performer at the Magnet Theater with over a decade of performance, coaching, and teaching experience. Manus began improv comedy studies n college with Clemson University's Mock Turtle Soup in 2013, before joining the Alchemy Comedy Theatre in Greenville, SC in 2016. In the ten plus years since starting his comedy journey, Manus has performed at theaters and festivals around the country, and received instruction from wonderful teachers and coaches at Magnet, UCB, BCC, IO, Second City, Improv Boston, Queen City Improv, The PIT, and AIC. A native New Yorker, Manus returned to the city in 2023 and can now be seen at Musical Megawatt on Thursday's, and as part of the duo Former Child with his wife and fellow Magnet performer, Lindsay Clancy. Improv comedy, musical or otherwise, is Manus's biggest passion, but his other interests include pro wrestling, reading Wikipedia summaries of horror movies instead of watching them, New York sports, and sandwiches.
