Kirsten Rasmussen
Bio
(Performer)Kirsten is a improviser/actress from Toronto Canada, currently working on her second Comedy Revue on the Mainstage at Second City Toronto. She recently won the award for Best Female Improviser in Canada, from the Canadian Comedy Awards 2015. She began performing improv comedy with Rapid Fire Theatre in Edmonton where she also received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. In 2010 Kirsten co-founded and co-directed Montreal Improv Theatre. Before joining the Mainstage at Second City, Kirsten was a teacher, director and performer with the Bad Dog Theatre, as well as a teacher for Second City Training Centre. She can also be found performing regularly with her troupe K$M with Matt Folliott, their troupe was nominated for Best Improv Troupe for the Canadian Comedy Awards. Kirsten has toured all over Canada, to Chicago, New York, Berlin, Australia and the Caribbean with improv/sketch and her solo shows.
