Ellie Wawrzaszek
Bio
(Performer)Originally from rural Wisconsin, Ellie first came to the East Coast as a “diversity” student at a school for rich kids. She went on to live in Italy, Turkey, Austria, and her brother’s basement before moving to NYC on a Greyhound bus in 2013. She found her comedic voice while teaching 7th grade in NYC public schools, and when she later pivoted to software engineering her boss encouraged her to try improv. After a few years of taking beginner classes over and over she landed on her Megawatt team, 100% Juice. Her special skills are a pretty dern good midwestern mom accent, reciting every line of Hadestown from memory, and aggressively sharing pictures of her dog, Estelle Costanza (Stella).
