Colin Fisher
Bio
(Performer)Colin Fisher is an actor and improviser originally from Tennessee, but he’s been in NYC for almost 20 years so he’s forgotten the sight of grass and hills. Colin got into performing in college at the University of Tennessee when he realized his astronomy major was very very hard, and went on to get his MFA in acting at the New School for Drama here in the city. When his Actors Studio-trained teachers seemed confused by his desire for laughs, he gave improv a stab at UCB and finally, really threw himself into it at the Magnet. Colin could not be happier to have found this community. He has been involved with the sketch circuit and can currently be seen in Megawatt and Livewire. Colin has studied with Louis Kornfeld, Peter McNerney, Jamie Rivera, Ari Voukydis, Curtis Gwynn, Christopher Scott, and James Dwyer. He has written and directed several video sketches and a few seasons of his webseries The Agoraphobes, which can be seen at http://youtube.com/popcornapocalypse. Colin lives somewhere downtown with his wife and son.
