Catherine Wing
Bio
(Performer)Catherine K. Wing has studied improvisation and sketch writing at the Magnet Theater and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Born and raised in Queens, she graduated from Wellesley College, where she appeared in productions of Hair, These Children?s Summer, and The Vagina Monologues. She has been a guest on Elliott Kalan?s shows: The Midnight Kalan, The Primetime Kalan, and his radio show, Fist City. She recently appeared in ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: A Medicine Show, a collaborative theater piece by the Foundry Theatre, playwright Eisa Davis, musician Morley, and Third Root Community Health Center, which has been performed at the Brecht Forum and the BMW Guggenheim Lab. She has taken puppeteering and puppet-making workshops with Josh Cohen, Michael Earl of Puppet School, and Michael Schupbach of The Puppet Kitchen. She is the voice of Chives the Mouse, and co-creator of Chives? videos for Mountain Rose Herbs, which can be viewed at http://chivesthemouse.tumblr.com.
