(Performer)Back in her conservatory days, Alexis was described by her faculty at Webster University as ?slightly off-center?. She is thrilled to be making her debut at the Magnet, where a diagnosis such as this is arguably an asset.
Since weaseling her way into a community theatre production of Fiddler on the Roof at the tender age of 4, Alexis has maintained her passion for the spotlight. Her performances have ranged from the innocent to the profane with nothing identifiable in the center. She has shocked and tickled audiences with her ?tequila soaked? portrayal of Katherine Kavanaugh in 50 Shades the Musical! off-Broadway and on tour. In New York Alexis appeared in the NYMF production of Wearing Black and made her Off-Broadway debut in Angelina Ballerina (yes, she did wear a spandex mouse suit). Most recently, Alexis has written and performed a one woman cabaret called Tindering Across America, a saucy romp through sex, swiping and song, which premiered this year at 54 Below. Other favorite roles include Percy in The Spitfire Grill, Diwata in Speech and Debate, and Dorine in Tartuffe. Alexis has also filmed her first movie, Literally Right Before Aaron, starring Justin Long.
Off-stage you can find Alexis playing her ukulele, talking to strangers, or stashing miniature toy dinosaurs in unique places. She is the proud surrogate mother mother of a Beta-Fish named ?Knuckles?.
