Class Description

Class Description: In Sketch 3, you will learn the intricacies of taking a sketch from the page to the stage by collaborating to produce a sketch show. You will push your strongest work to new places thru table reads, casting, technical and artistic design, rehearsals, and a final in-person class show. This class is for students interested in being a part of a sketch team or learning how to stage their own sketch show.

Prerequisites: Sketch 1 & 2, must have 2 rewritten sketches in good shape for Day 1

Instructor: Lanee' Sanders

A comedy writer, improviser, and breakfast aficionado hailing from Virginia, Lanee' is a woman of great depth and international intrigue. She's never met a person living or dead who's been able to look her in eyes without saying "hello" or walking away. That's a fact.
Here are some more. Lanee' began studying improv and sketch comedy at the Magnet Theater in 2015. She's on an indie team of wildly huggable individuals, The Screwdriverz. Her favorite humans are funny humans and humans who smell heavily of bar soap. A combination of the two would be completely irresistible to a wild Lanee'.

Tri- state born and bred. (NJ, PA, NY sorry CT) Writer / Stand - Up/ Producer /Radio-Host

Gregoryc (Yes, there is a “C” at the end but you can just call him Gregory or Greg) studied and completed the Improv and Sketch programs at UCB. Trained by Silvija Ozols, Johnna Scrabis, Keisha Zollar, Colin Elzie, Achilles Stamatelaky, Geoff Garlock, Lydia Hensler, Anthony Apruzzese, Georgie Aldaco, James Dwyer, Eric Feurer and James III.

Recently someone said to him " You remind me of Rihanna" so he has that going for him.

He also helps Produce the Diversity Sketch Lab at the Magnet and is currently a writer for the Magnet house team Gary From HR.
