AI Is Stealing Your Walk-Ons with Tim Martin

Class Description

Is there a way to use AI in improv? Rather than see AI as a threat, could we use it as a powerful new tool? Is AI just a novelty, or could we develop new forms and types of scenes with it? We're going to run some mad scientist experiments and find out. We're going to attempt to massively expand the "and" in "Yes, and". To constructively inform and fact-check scenes in real time. To identify all the possible directions a scene could take, as it's happening. And to develop forms that take advantage of AI capability. All you'll need is an AI chatbot, such as ChatGPT, on your phone. Prerequisite Magnet Level 1 or Equivalent

Instructor: Tim Martin

Tim Martin is a member of Fuck That Shit (A Comedy Team). They do improv. He's performed and taught improv for a long time. He's appeared in such television shows as Broad City and Alternatino, such films as Don't Think Twice (voice only but I’m counting it), and many, many commercials for products!
