Class Description

Before the music begins, we need a platform to sing and dance on! How our characters relate to one another, what brought them to where they are in each scene, and exploring the world around them will help inform our characters’ wants, philosophies, and why it all matters. This class is great for musical improvisers who want more reps doing scene work.

Instructor: Billy Soco

Billy Soco is a first-generation performer of Filipino and Chilean descent based in NYC. He has performed on house teams at Magnet and UCB and currently performs with Baby Wants Candy, Shamilton, North Coast, ComedySportz NYC, and Story Pirates. He teaches at Magnet, Second City, North Coast as well as festivals and theaters around the world.
