Extremely Advanced Level 9000 "Yes, And" with Tim Martin
Class Description
You’ve taken classes, learned forms, maybe even joined a team or two or twelve. But how are your scenes? How are you as a scene partner? We’re going to go all the way back to the beginning, to the first thing we learned in improv. We’re going to see how “Yes, And” is about more than just Who, What, Where. It’s really about how our characters feel! We’re going to see how feeling is what really drives it all. We’re going to stop thinking our way through scenes and start behaving. We’re going to start playing off of how other characters feel, and not just what they say. We’re going to experience true spontaneity and make a lot of surprising discoveries. It’ll be pretty funny!
PREREQUISITE: Magnet Level Two or Equivalent
Tim Martin is a member of Fuck That Shit (A Comedy Team). They do improv. He's performed and taught improv for a long time. He's appeared in such television shows as Broad City and Alternatino, such films as Don't Think Twice (voice only but I’m counting it), and many, many commercials for products!
