Class Description

Working on a screenplay? Want to start writing a play but not sure where to start? Or how to end. Narrative Improv can be a helpful tool and guide in helping craft your written work. This class will focus on narrative storytelling through improv and explore the elements of dramatic structure. From world building to Happy Endings; Heroes, Villains, and Wacky Sidekicks. Suspense, Conflict, and Resolution. This class is designed for improvisers with an interest in writing.

Instructor: Nikita Burdein

Born in Ukraine, raised in Chicago, and now in NYC, Nikita is an improviser, video producer, theater maker, and other multi-hyphenate (son, brother, friend, etc.)

He can be seen Fridays at the Magnet Theater's Premiere: the Improvised Musical (the longest running weekly Musical Improv show in NYC!) Nikita can also be seen at the UCB Theater on Harold Night with this team, The Prophecy.
