Class Description

The Spokane is a long form structure that begins with a source scene anchored in one location, grounded by clear relationships then "spokes" out to follow interesting characters, peculiar world realities, unspoken histories, and any fun discovery waiting to be explored and justified. We’ll refine balancing patient play with fast tags leading up to a final show. Prerequisite: Advanced Improv Level One

Instructor: Billy Soco

Billy Soco is a first-generation actor and voice artist of Filipino and Chilean descent based in NYC. He's studied and performed at UCB, Freestyle Love Supreme Academy, is a proud Story Pirate, and currently teaches and performs improvisation at Magnet Theater and with premier Hip Hop improv collective North Coast. He has also performed with CHUCHO Latinx Improv, ComedySportz NYC, ADX and Baby Wants Candy.
