SUSP - Advanced Coaching Workshop with Rick Andrews
Class Description
This six week workshop will focus on honing our coaching and directing skills. We'll work with student volunteers to run exercises and learn effective techniques for giving notes, side coaching, and show directing. Perfect for an experienced improviser looking to try out coaching for the first time or for coaches with some experience looking to improve their skills. Instructor Approval Required.
Rick Andrews is a teacher and performer at The Magnet Theater, and has been studying, performing, and teaching improvisation since 1999.
He began improvising with Improv Boston, and continued with a stint in Saint Louis, MO. He is an adjunct at Columbia University, teaching in the MFA acting program, on the board of The Unscripted Project, and has taught at hundreds of festivals, theaters, and companies around the globe.
