ANNOUNCING FALL 2025 MUSICAL MEGAWATT AUDITIONS
We're excited to announce that we'll be holding auditions for new Musical Megawatt teams in late October/early November.
Who can audition for Musical Megawatt?
Anyone who has completed Musical 3 at the Magnet at any time is eligible to audition.
If I'm cast, what is the time commitment of being on a Musical Megawatt team?
Musical teams will perform at the theater on Thursday nights starting November 13. Shows are at 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30 pm. The season will last for six months. Each team will have a different time slot every Thursday. In addition to performing on Thursdays, musical house teams are expected to rehearse regularly, at least three times per month.
Is there a financial commitment?
Yes - as a member of a team, you are responsible for paying your share of the cost of rehearsals, which include room rentals, accompanist fees, and coach fees.
When are auditions?
Auditions will be held on Sunday, October 26, from 6:00pm - 10:30pm.
Callbacks will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 6:00pm - 10:30pm.
Where are auditions?
Auditions will be held at Michael Howard Studios, 152 West 25th Street, on the 10th floor.
What is the deadline to submit?
5 pm on Wednesday, October 15.
When will I know what my audition time is?
Emails with audition slots will be sent out on Friday, October 17.
