Applications Now Open for the Musical Circuit!
We're very excited to announce that Magnet will be doing another round of the Musical Circuit this Winter!
What is the Circuit?
The Circuit is a program in which teams of Magnet students are put together by lottery. Those teams are assigned a coach, rehearse weekly, and are given a 4-week run of shows at the Magnet.
What are the prerequisites for being on a Circuit Team?
To be eligible for the Circuit lottery, you must have completed Musical Level 3 at the Magnet.
Does it cost anything to be on the Circuit?
Circuit teams cover the costs of their rehearsals. These costs include room rentals, accompanist fees, and coach fees.
When will Circuit shows be?
The Musical Circuit shows will be Friday nights at 6pm in February (that's February 2, 9, 16, and 23). All shows will be at the Magnet Theater on 29th Street.
When is the deadline to apply?
12pm on January 16.
When will announcements be made?
Team announcements will go out on January 18.
