Announcing Musical Megawatt Auditions!
We're excited to announce that we'll be holding auditions for new Musical Megawatt teams in October.
Who can audition for Musical Megawatt?
Anyone who has completed Musical 3 at the Magnet at any time is eligible to audition.
If I'm cast, what is the time commitment of being on a Musical Megawatt team?
Musical teams will perform at the theater on Thursday nights starting November 2. Shows are at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm. The season will last for six months. Each team will have a different timeslot every Thursday. In addition to performing on Thursdays, musical house teams are expected to rehearse regularly, at least three times per month.
Is there a financial commitment?
Teams are expected to cover the cost of rehearsals, which include room rentals, accompanist fees, and coach fees.
When are auditions?
Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 21, from 5:30pm - 10:30pm. Callbacks will be held Sunday, October 22, from 4:30pm - 9:30pm.
Where are auditions?
Auditions will be held at Michael Howard Studios, 152 West 25th Street, on the 10th floor.
What is the deadline to submit?
5pm on Wednesday, October 11.
When will I know what my audition time is?
Emails with audition slots will be sent out on Friday, October 13.
