Everywhere, People Live is a storytelling solo show by Xuan Zhao that blends personal narrative, movement, and moments of improvisation to explore identity, belonging, and the unexpected connections that shape who we become.

From a piano practice room in China to a London subway entrance, a California dorm, a tiny bookstore in Georgia, an NYU classroom, and a Chinatown bar basement, each story captures an ordinary place where something quietly extraordinary happened. Through spoken word, physical storytelling, humor, and heartfelt reflection, Xuan invites audiences into a journey that is deeply personal yet universally familiar.
