About the Show

After a sad and successful 3-year run at The Magnet Theater, Everyone is Sad returns! This stand-up show gave comedic performers who were relatively new to stand up a safe and supportive space to try out this very sad art form. In this special edition of the show, Perri Gross will be doing half an hour of stand-up comedy! The time has finally come for her to do the longest set she's ever done to make everyone miserable.

The host, Perri Gross has been doing stand-up for over a decade, starting at Ithaca College and then performing in various stages and basements all over NYC. She is a writer for Reductress, worked for the Earwolf comedy podcast network, and is currently a Partner Manager at AMC Networks. She has been featured in the New Talent Showcase at Carolines on Broadway and The New York Times. Everyone is Sad has been featured in Time Out New York numerous times. She has also cried on every street in Manhattan.
