About the Show

We are two ladies in the comedy-band Bergmál from Iceland.

Elisa plays guitar and Selma plays Cajun drum, piano and various percussion instruments, we both sing.

Our music and lyrics is all original, it´s a little bit of everything (pop, country, reggae) but our main focus is on funny lyrics, stories and general knowledge and we mix it up with a beautiful melody and harmony.

Flight of the Conchords is our main inspiration along with daily activities and human habits that we need to ?educate? people.

In one of our songs we talk about the planet Uranus. It can be really difficult to talk about Uranus, where it sounds just like your sayng your anus!

We ?educate? people about the benefits of Icelandic nature and teach them about the Elves. And we have reliable sources that the elves are the best lovers, they sure know what they are doing. Just go to the nature and let the nature finish you off!

We ?teach? women how to do natural things like passing gas more attractive and appealing to the other sex.

And so on .....
We are outstanding duo with a great passion for performing, singing, songwriting and we love ?educating? people about issues that really matters!
