About the Show
The legendary show is reborn!
Created in 1995 at the iO Theater in Chicago, The Armando Diaz Experience IS the longest running improv show EVER. A guest monologist takes a suggestion from the audience and shares true stories from their life. These stories are then brought to life by a rotating cast of improv all-stars, which take audiences on a high minded, exhilarating comedic joy ride that will leave mouths tired of smiling. And occasionally, just occasionally, the man with his name on the show will drop by for some fun.
CHARLES ROGERS is a writer and director who grew up an only child in an abandoned resort hotel in Acapulco, Mexico as well as on the confusing and dangerous Texas-Mexico border. His series Search Party, which he created with Sarah-Violet Bliss, Michael Showalter, and Jax Media will premiere on TBS in 2016. His feature film, Fort Tilden, which he co-wrote/co-directed with Sarah-Violet Bliss, won the Grand Jury Award at SXSW 2014 and was released theatrically and on demand by Orion Pictures. He is also one of the filmmakers of the multi-director feature film, Black Dog, Red Dog, produced by James Franco. Charles was recently a staff writer on the Netflix Original Series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp as well as on the second season of Roman Coppola and Jason Schwartzmann?s Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle which won the Golden Globe for Best Television Comedy. Before all of this, he was on Megawatt team The Music Industry and we're sure he misses it.
