:Kiss*Punch*Poem:
NEARLY SOLD OUT

About the Show

New York?s finest improvisers join forces with New York?s finest poets in a unique format that is part comedy show, part poetry feature and completely unpredictable.

It all begins with an exquisite corpse written collaboratively, line-by-line by the audience beforehand. The improvisers then delve in, building an entire world around the themes and imagery of the poem and inhabiting it with a cast of characters that are wildly funny, heartbreakingly tragic, and everything in between.

Along the way, the show is fueled by the amazing work of published poets, national slam champions, and up-and-comers from around the country and across the globe, shaking the rafters and rousing souls with original poetry that is raw, personal and profound.

The whole show ends with the performance of a brand new poem written on the spot and inspired by the entire show. It?s comedy, it?s poetry, it?s theater and art. It is everything you came to this New York to see.

The cast includes performers and poets with credits from This American Life, NPR, The Onion, The Second City, The Truth Podcast, Reductress and Story Pirates.
