Bio
(Perfomer)Graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Shareef Taher’s performance credits span the globe and include concerts/recordings with Patti Labelle, Lionel Richie, Harry Connick Jr, Morgan James, Derrick Trucks, John Scofield, Ok Go and many others. He’s performed at The Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Blue Note NYC, The Smithsonian, the Library of Congress as well as two television performances for PBS. As a comedian, Shareef’s jokes have been featured in The Onion and The Hardtimes. He’s currently on Megawatt team Mommy and is a sketch writer for UCB’s Maude night. He’s performed standup all around NYC, DC and Boston and is featured in an American Express commercial which he bragged about for months because he thought it would lead to bigger things.
