Rebecca Sohn

Bio

Rebecca Sohn is a performer, writer, director and teacher. She lives in Chicago where she?s been with the Annoyance Theater since 1991. She toured with The Second City and was an ensemble member of The Second City ETC where she wrote and performed in two reviews and taught for the SC Training Center. Currently she improvises in In A World at The Annoyance, Virgin Daiquiri at IO, Switchboard anywhere and everywhere, and improvises a 2-act dramatic play with Almost ATLANTa, which has enjoyed runs at Second City, Annoyance, Chicago Dramatists and The Steppenwolf Garage. Her ?legit? theater credits include Remy Bumppo, About Face and Steppenwolf. She has taught tfor The Annoyance for over 15 years and performs, writes and directs for both Second City and The Annoyance. In 2011 she was a finalist for The Andy Kaufmann Award and returns this year to compete again. Her solo show, ?Live Bex Show? enjoyed stellar reviews in Chicago and she?s thrilled to bring it to The Magnet Theater.
