Jamie Scangarella
Bio
(Performer)Jamie Scangarella is a New Jersey born-and-raised Actor, Voice Over Artist, and Sketch Comedian. She spent some years on the west coast, earning a B.A. in Theater from UC San Diego before returning to the Big Apple in 2022. For over a decade, Jamie has been performing, improvising, and writing with training at Magnet, PIT, and Second City. With sketch comedy, improvisation, and characters being her niches, her work has an emphasis in black comedy, satire, and absurdism that explore and question the human condition. When not on the stage, she can be found in her home-studio doing voiceovers, training (herself and others) at her local YMCA, or sleuthing with the Murder Mystery Company. She is also a lover of words, birds, and all things absurd.
