Deborah Friedman

Bio
(Performer)Debbie Friedman is currently performing her one-woman comedic storytelling show, Death: Isn't it Hilarious? where she'll tell you all about being mugged in New York City. Since moving to the big bad apple, Debbie has performed in a healthy variety of styles, from her recent run at PS 122 in the song cycle The Jamal Lullabies by Emily Conbere to guest appearances on the Maniacal Rage sketch comedy podcast and a brief appearance in the short film Forever's Not So Long (Gutsack and Robot) to various cello recordings and even a national tour celloing it up for The Acting Company's production of Jane Eyre. Debbie has taken classes at the Magnet since the Fall of '07 and hasn't looked back since. Other things she hasn't looked back on include the decision to include the wisdom, "if it smells ok you can probably eat it" on her facebook page. She still believes it.
