Anne Marsen grew up in NJ and started dancing when she was just 2 years old. She has studied dance all over, from the School of American Ballet in NYC, to strangers she has met on the streets of Mumbai, India. As a teenager, she found herself freestyle dancing at high school talent shows. Her freestyle has developed to combine styles she has studied ranging from hip hop, street jazz, musical theatre, modern, salsa, capoeira, pole dancing, parkour, bollywood, ballroom, and mime. She has studied and performed, acting & improvisation at HB Studios, University of the Arts, the P.I.T., and The Magnet. She was featured in The NY times for her starring role in "Girl Walk // All Day", the Kickstarter funded improv-dance film which went on to SXSW and beyond, igniting dance parties through the aisles (and rooftops, churches, beaches, farms, and streets) of the many cities the film has screened at. She played a recurring role as Jennifer, the quirky tutor who spontaneously busts out making dance-videos in public, on the CBS show, "The Good Wife". She is a certified level one teacher of Franklin Method, focusing on dynamic imagery and anatomical embodiment for healthy, efficient movement (which can lead to more FUN :) ). Anne is currently teaching movement while pursuing a career performing and directing personal music-video projects.
