Class Description

A four-week advanced elective for BIPOC improvisers focused on diagnostic scenework, individualized feedback, and long-form technique. The class would alternate between stand-alone scene work and form-based reps so students receive notes both on the content of scenes and on structural choices like edits, timing, and other sideline support. Prerequisite: Students who self-identify as BIPOC, and who have completed Magnet Level 3 or instructor approval.

Instructor: Billy Soco

Billy Soco is a first-generation performer of Filipino and Chilean descent based in NYC. He has performed on house teams at Magnet and UCB and currently performs with The Armando Diaz Experience, Baby Wants Candy, Shamilton, North Coast, ComedySportz NYC, and Story Pirates.
