Group Scenes with Rick Andrews
Begins: Apr 3, 2026
Ends: Apr 24, 2026
Price: $149
Class Description
How can we coordinate with all these people on stage? How can we share focus seamlessly as we juggle multiple ideas? Too many group scenes get swallowed in chaos, or stall out standing in a semi-circle. We'll build strong group scenes and games with a clear sense of focus and space that allow the whole ensemble to build! Prerequisite: Magnet Improv Level One or equivalent.
Rick Andrews is a teacher and performer at The Magnet Theater, and has been studying, performing, and teaching improvisation since 1999.
He began improvising with Improv Boston, and continued with a stint in Saint Louis, MO. He is an adjunct at Columbia University, teaching in the MFA acting program, on the board of The Unscripted Project, and has taught at hundreds of festivals, theaters, and companies around the globe.
At Magnet, you can see him in The Armando Diaz Experience and Kornfeld and Andrews.
