Satire and Humor Festival: Punching Up

Satire and Humor Festival: Punching Up with Eva Victor and Taylor Garron

Class Description

Two seasoned satire writers host a workshop about how to generate efficient headlines that punch up, not down. We will discuss how to create a simple, clear headline that points a finger at people who use their power abusively. We are here to make sure that you aren't attacking or blaming victims in any way. This workshop is great for those ready to tackle more sensitive topics through the lens of satire, and who want to workshop their ideas in a safe, honest space.
