Ryan Nelson, Performer

Ryan is an actor and improviser living in NYC. At the Magnet, Ryan has studied extensively with Armando Diaz, Rachel Hamilton, Tara Copeland, Louis Kornfeld, & James Eason (among others). Ryan is a Pennsylvania native and has studied musical theater at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, and theater at Penn State University. Ryan can be seen at The Magnet in POPE! The Musical, performing musical improvisation with Choral Rage, and playing once a year with the super group Under Your Bed. Ryan can also be spotted at chain restaurants in Queens, enjoying fine handcrafted beers all over the east coast, and time traveling back to 1999. Ryan is the proud creator of the Ryan Nelson Poetry Club and thanks Anthony Rapp for giving him the gift of musical theater.
